Americaʼs Most Reliable Commuter Airline Will Launch Flights from Phoenix on July 1st!

Southern Airways will begin service from Show Low Regional Airport with three daily
departures to Phoenix starting Friday, July 1, 2022. Southern replaces Boutique Air, which has served the city
since 2016.

Southern was founded in Memphis in 2013 and has since grown to be the largest commuter airline in America. Now serving 44 cities from Nantucket to Honolulu, Southern has consistently ranked as one of the most reliable and on-time airlines in the country. In 2021, excluding weather, Southern completed 99.3% of its nearly 70,000 scheduled flights.

Southern has a history of replacing under-performing airlines and rebuilding passenger loyalty. “It takes time to earn the community’s trust,” said Stan Little, Chairman and CEO of Southern Airways. “We have rebuilt community air service many times before, and we understand how to do it. Since our June 2021 launch at Chadron, Nebraska, where we took over from the same carrier as Show Low, the city has enjoyed a perfect 100% controllable completion rate—the highest in the country.”

Southern’s service between Show Low and Phoenix will take place on the Pilatus PC-12, the same aircraft operated by the outgoing airline. Fares will range from $69 to $99 each way. Tickets are on sale now at iFlySouthern.com, as well as at aa.com and united.com.

Southern Airways currently has interline ticketing and baggage agreements with American, United, and Alaska Airlines. Interline agreements mean that passengers can book their flights between Show Low and their final destination in one single transaction and have their bags transferred automatically between Southern and the other airline. Passengers can book their tickets to any destination in the United States, with flights originating
from Show Low, on Southern’s website, iFlySouthern.com.
