What better way to cool off this summer than a Southern Airways flight into Quincy, Illinois for their Annual Summer Taste Tour!
If food is your love language? The chefs of Quincy speak it deliciously. Designed for the curious foodie, Summer Flavor Tours are guided eats & sips adventures to five locally owned venues in downtown Quincy, Illinois. Each Saturday from June-August, local chefs share their signature seasonal dishes and drinks.
The three-hour walking tours are guided by an entertaining food ambassador, infusing intriguing nuggets of the city’s past along the way. The tour meanders through the Farmers Market and historic Washington Park, home of the 1858 Lincoln-Douglas Debate. Along with culinary delights, tour-goers see awe-inspiring architecture, colorful city murals, and a boutique shop stop.
This year the tour includes a new charcuterie experience, a swanky retro lounge, and dessert Italiano. Flavor Tours also include house-roasted coffee and refreshing cocktails, concluding at a relaxed beer garden with a tasting of local brews.
