An Unconventional Thanksgiving Dinner

My family has an unconventional Thanksgiving tradition we will be starting this year. It will continue to be a day we reflect on everything we have and everything that we are grateful for yet it will be a day that will bring a bit of diversity and exposure of American subcultures to our dinner table. Instead of the traditional turkey, sweet potatoes, green bean casserole and other Thanksgiving staples, we will be serving menu items from different regions across the United States. Think of it like a potluck, sampling dishes from around the country that are appropriate for the season. Take a look at some of our favorite recipes from the regions that Southern Airways flies to that will be on our dinner table this Thanksgiving.
