Bradford is a city in McKean County, Pennsylvania, United States, close to the border with New York State and approximately 78 miles south of Buffalo, New York. Bradford had a population of over 8,700 according to the 2010 census.

Bradford is a little different historically from many Pennsylvania communities, as instead of being built by the railroad industry, it is was the Pennsylvania Oil Boom that made the town in 1879. World-famous Kendall racing oils were produced in Bradford.

Bradford is home to the world-famous aviation organization The Piper Club.

Bradford is home to Zippo lighters and Case knives.

The American Refining Group (formerly Kendall), and their line of specialty products make Bradford home. ARG is the oldest continuously operating refinery in the United States.

Annual festivals include Stinkfest (a festival promoting leek cuisine).

Bradford has a humid continental climate with long, snowy winters and warm, humid summers.
